My Story

On the 8th March 2026 I will be taking on the challenge of the Paris Half Marathon. I have decided to use this as an opportunity to raise some much-needed funds for Diabetes Ireland, as their work is something that matters greatly to both myself and my family.

Last May, my beloved cousin Philip passed away due to complications from diabetes. My sister Becky was also diagnosed with Type 1 when still a teenager. It is for these reasons that I have chosen to raise funds for this particular charity. Diabetes Ireland is an organisation that promotes general awareness about the disease and the critical importance of recognising the early signs and symptoms, as well as providing invaluable support and guidance to those living with the condition.

By supporting this cause, you are helping to fund vital research, education, and provide the necessary resources to those living with diabetes and their families.

Your contribution will make a real difference. Together, we can honour Philip’s memory and help others avoid the devastating impact of this disease.

Please consider donating and sharing this page to spread awareness. Every effort counts.
